On the eve of the start of 2021 I wanted to thank all who listen and support my show. 2020 will stand alone as the most challenging year a lot of us have ever had in our lives.
The loss of loved ones is the most important thing to pause and remember. My biggest concern after the health and safety of all Americans is how divided we are as a country. We are split down the middle on every issue we face as a nation. It’s been tough this year to trust anything you read or hear about the virus. I’ve said it since March that the only beacon of hope connected to this pandemic is to lean on the medical professional you trust with your life or with the lives of your children.
There isn’t a politician I trust. My worry is for the future of our country remaining a true democracy founded on our constitutional rights and not more government control. The strength a lot of us have found in 2020 is that family and friends are more important than ever before. We need them in our daily lives. The laughs, love, and tears we share are the fuel for our sanity as we navigate the good and bad days brought on by this pandemic.
The United States of America has always found a way to rise above evil, hate, division, corruption, bad politics, and lies. Peace and resolution may not always move at the speed it should but we have always found a path for a better way of life both home and abroad.
