What a weekend for our Detroit Tigers – we’re breaking it down throughout the entire broadcast today with you and some of great insiders. Huge gave his initial thoughts on how the Tigers did against the Reds in the series – which puts our Tigers in first place of the AL Central for now. It’s also Opening Day at Comerica Park tonight so we got our insiders thoughts on how the team looks going into this game against the Royals. In our first hour we were joined by Detroit Tigers VP of Communications Ron Colangelo to hear about they’re remembering Al Kaline tonight and Ron also told the audience about how the fans can stay connected from a distance this season. We also asked the audience to give us their Good/Bad from the weekend’s games.
As news broke this morning that some Marlins players have tested positive for Covid-19 which led to a lot of people freaking out about the remainder of the MLB season. Luckily Huge was there to calm the audience down and to explain how the season wouldn’t just end like that. We were also joined by Evan Woodbery and Tom Gage in our second hour to get all of their thoughts on the games from over the weekend as well as the Opener tonight. We took more of your comments on the good/bad from the weekend.
The Tigers conversation continued throughout the final hour of the show today as Opening Night at Comerica is just minutes away. To start off this hour we were joined by Ahmed Fareed to get his thoughts on everything that’s come out of the MLB today regarding positive Covid tests and how the season could be affected. We were then joined by JP Morosi to get his thoughts on all of this as well. We wrapped up the broadcast with a replay of Bill’s conversation with the VP of Communications for the Tigers, Ron Colangelo.
